A safari, to me, is more than wildlife—though I’ll never forget my first glimpse of a leopard’s amber eyes in the Masai Mara or the thunder of wildebeest crossing the Serengeti. It’s the journey: dusty trails, golden plains, and nights by the fire with rangers sharing tales of the bush. But it’s the people who make it unforgettable.
